we%26#39;re going to boston in august to meet daughter%26#39;s future inlaws. all 9 of us plan to do a 3pm duck tour starting at prudential center. since we%26#39;ll all be probably in shorts and will need reservations for such a large group- is there a restaurant nearby that will not be too expensive, will take reservations for 9 and will allow shorts?

Try Joe%26#39;s American Bar and Grille on Newbury Street. The food is good, it%26#39;s a lively atmosphere, and they accomodate larger groups easily.

I%26#39;d also recommend Charley%26#39;s, which is on the corner of Gloucester and Newbury Streets. They are super casual and have 2 levels of seating. You shouldn%26#39;t have a problem finding space.
