Parking at Lechemere

On the day of a sox game (thursday @ 2:00 in August) will I be able to find parking at Lechmere station in Cambridge around 11:00

Parking at Lechemere

Not sure about parking, but the only home Thursday game in August (8/3 against the Orioles) starts at 1:00....just don%26#39;t want you to be late....hopefully somebody can give you advice on Lechmere parking.

Parking at Lechemere

I don%26#39;t think there is parking at Lechmere Station...the mall has paid parking but that%26#39;s closed by 11pm. Does anyone out there know?

you might want to think about parking in Sullivan Square in Charleston and taking the train in.

I agree there%26#39;s no parking at Lechmere Station. Is there a reason you even thought about going there?? It%26#39;s not exactly near any highways or anything. Where are you staying?? Maybe we can help you from that perspective.

There is a privately-owned parking lot at Lechmere station that holds about 250 cars. Whether or not it will be filled on a Sox Game Day, I don%26#39;t know.

However, you can drive into Boston and park at the Prudential Center and get a discounted rate if you show your ticket stub. The after game traffic doesn%26#39;t affect that area as much, so it%26#39;s easy to leave after the game.

We are coming from Maine and I was trying to avoid coming all the way into the city. I don%26#39;t really want to have to change trains so thats why i wanted to get right on the Green line.

Hi,

If you are coming from Maine, and you really just want to take the Green Line, and you don%26#39;t want to drive into Boston, then you shouldn%26#39;t go to Lechmere, you should go to Riverside station on the D branch of the Green Line.

The stop has its own exit off of I-95 (route 128). Just continue South on I-95 through Waltham. Just past the exit for I-90/Mass Pike, look for the Grove St./MBTA exit. There%26#39;s tons of parking at Riverside, and it will take you directly to the Fenway stop, which is a 5 minute walk from the park.
