Hi, my husband and I are thinking of travelling to Boston in early September - can you confirm if the weather is generally ok at this time of year? Can you still go to most attractions in and around Boston?
Many thanks
Guinevere
Boston in September
Hi,
In Early September it%26#39;s still Summer here. Weather can be hot and humid still, but generally it%26#39;s not as humid as the height of summer in July/August. Temps are USUALLY (but not always) in the 70%26#39;s and 80s, depending on how early in Sept. you are talking about.
It happens to be the best time to visit here, but it%26#39;s also one of the busiest. So, you will need to plan well in advance and book hotels, etc.

Yes! Congratulations. You picked a GREAT time of year to visit.
All of the attractions in Boston and throughout New England are still available in September. For some attractions, such as a whale watching and ferries to the Cape and Islands, the schedules will be less frequent and for other attractions hours that they are opened may change a bit.
Great time not to hot not to cold.
Weatherwise it is a great choice and yes attractions remain open. Just be aware that Labor Day is celebrated here on Monday, September 3. It marks the unofficial end to summer and the beginning of the new school year with college kids pouring back in to the city.
Thank-you all for the valuable information you have given! Kind Regards
Guinevere
