We%26#39;re coming into Boston for 1 day from Maine. We%26#39;re going to a baseball game at night but plan on arriving in Boston in the morning (around 10:00 am).
We have disabled family member and our line of thinking is we%26#39;d like to find a disabled parking spot in the morning and then use cabs to get around the rest of the day. After the game we would return to our car.
My question is, do the handicapped parking spots have time restrictions? What%26#39;s the likelyhood of snatching one of these spots in the morning?
THANK YOU!!!!
handicap parking at Fenway
Funny, there was a similar message from Maine on the same subject only a few weeks ago. Anyway, as far as I know, there are no handicapped spaces around Fenway Park. As it is, all the parking is private, anyway. There are no public spaces, per se. There are on street spaces, but all spaces have a two hour time limit during the day. Your best bet is to go to one of the private lots and ask about leaving your car for the day, including the Red Sox game time. This will be pretty expensive, but it sounds like you would value the convenience of being close. Right?

As long as you have a handicap license plate or a placard to hang from the rearview mirror, you can park at any meter in Boston for as long as you want. The 2 hour time limit does not apply to handicapped vehicles in Boston.
I%26#39;d recommend getting a spot at a meter down near Boston Billiards, just past Fenway and leaving your car there.
