There are a few downtown malls/centers you should consider: the Prudential Mall, the CambridgeSide Galleria, and the shops at Faneuil Hall (which include places like the Gap, Crate and Barrel, etc. )
The suburban malls like the South Shore Plaza are accessible by T but it%26#39;s a pain and in my opnion, not worth it (train and then a bus).
The one that I think IS worth it is the Wrentham Premium Outlet mall, but that%26#39;s not T accessible. There are bus trips down there and if you rent a car, it%26#39;s about an hour southwest of the city. They%26#39;ve got a lot of real bargains. Someone out there might have the bus trip info. If you GOOGLE wrentham premium outlets in Massachusetts, you%26#39;ll get their website and see all the stores they have. It%26#39;s very big. They have a Cracker Barrel restaurant near the entryway and that%26#39;s a lot of fun for people coming from outside the US because they have a ';country store'; attached to the restaurant and traditional (heavy) American/southern (comfort) food. It%26#39;s kind of kitschy and the food is far from gourmet, but it%26#39;s fun and if you do go to the outlets, you might check it out, if not for the food, for the little country store.

Hi,
Unless you are specifically talking about Outlet Mall shopping, there%26#39;s no reason to go to any of the surburban malls. Whatever you%26#39;d want to find, you can get in Boston, at either the Prudential Mall, or Copley Place, or Downtown Crossing, or the Landmark Center in the Fenway.
Also, the Cambridgeside Galleria is a nice mall, easily accessible via the Green Line at Lechmere, which has stores like Sears and Filene%26#39;s and Best Buy.
However, if you want to go to a mall in the burbs, you can get to the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, which is a huge place, pretty easily on the T. Take the Red Line to Quincy Center, and pick up either the 236 or 238 bus, which stops at the Plaza.
you wanna go to wreantham premium outlets, bargains ago go. i am goin to boston in Nov and it will be my 3rd trip. it is particularly good for us because of the great dollar rate. you can book through grayline tours online or get your hotel to do it when you get there, they pick up and drop off at some hotels. cheers!
I think Wrentham is a must....
We have being going to Boston for the last number of years shopping and would alway go to Wrentham. We use the Back Bay Coaches that collect%26#39;s you from your hotel and brings you back later on. The return trip cost us $38 last November.
We usually book by sending a mail to ';georgehdaou@gmail.com';. You could send a mail asking if they collect from the hotel you are staying in.
