Motel north of Boston

We are looking for an inexpensive motel with parking no more than an hour or two from Logan airport. We are looking along 95 from Maine. Can anyone suggest a good location?

Woburn is a good choice. It%26#39;s about 10 miles north of the city, and it seems as if all of the hotels have free parking. It%26#39;s located at the ';cloverleaf'; interchange between Rtes. 93 and 128(which piggybacks Rt. 95).

depends on if you want to be able to do stuff around the hotel or just drive to other places. Woburn is good for easy highway access, but Salem and Newburyport are right off 95 and have interesting historical areas with restaurants in walking distance. If you have never stayed in Boston itself it is worth staying in 2 different hotels (Boston and Maine) instead of commuting into Boston.

I love the Newburyport suggestion if you are looking to stay near restaurants %26amp; scenery. Micheal%26#39;s Harborside %26amp; Stripers are both restaurants on the water where you can enjoy a good meal %26amp; drinks. They both have outdoor seating %26amp; are on the water. The food is better at Stripers IMO.

Only thing about Newburyport - there are no real cheap hotels/motels there. Cheap motel to me is $100 or less a night.

There are many many cheap hotel/motels though in Salisbury/Hampton area right up the road %26amp; there is plenty to see %26amp; do there as well.

If you don%26#39;t care about the dining or scenery Woburn was a great suggestion with easy hwy access.

Most hotel/motels further north of the city have free %26amp; ample parking.
