Info on Woof Hotel at Harbor House Village?

Has anyone stayed with their pet at the Woof Hotel? Is the inn clean and well kept?

We have never been to Nantuckey so are unfamiliar with distance to restaurants, beaches, transporation.

Any info on either the Woof Hotel and Harbor House Village would be apprecaited!

I have not stayed at the Woof Hotel portion, but the rest is very clean and nicely kept, one of the better/reasonably priced lodgings on Nantucket. It is located less than a 5 minute walk from downtown.

Nantucket is my favorite destination with good public transportation..

Have breakfast at ';Black Eyed Susans';, shop at Murrays Toggery Shop and pick up a pair of ';Reds';. FOr the best of the island, rent a jeep and drive on the beach up to Great Point.. the drive is about 40 minutes up the scenic beach and you will have total privacy, like you were the only person on the beach. Dinner choices ';Pearl';, ';Summer House'; quite pricey, but enjoyable.

Make sure you shoot by the ';Chicken Box'; and see the diversity the Island has to offer.

I haven%26#39;t heard any direct reviews from my clients. From what I%26#39;ve seen, it looks like they did a great job with the rooms. The Harbor House is allways a great operation and I would expect it to stay that way. I wouldn%26#39;t have any problems recomending my clients to stay there.

Can%26#39;t say, but we are heading to the Woof Cottages for a second time before the season rates skyrocket. Love the Boat Basin!!! Harbor House Village is close to town and most of the great restaurants. We are very excited to rent a jeep for our 2 night stay to visit the outer edges with our hound! It is a great dog town/island~

Oh as far as jeep rental - Nantucket Island - Roger 800-508-9972 at the airport beats the rest pricewise and have a new fleet of 2007 4doorsofttops. And free delivery to ferry, hotel. For example they quoted $89 a day, others were $129 and $149. Riding on the sand - pirceless!!!
