Town Crier Motel in Eastham

What about the reviews for this hotel?!? Most are positive, but some are really awful. Anyone stay there who can give an accurate description? Thanks

Town Crier Motel in Eastham

Hi, We have never stayed there but spend our vacation time in Eastham. I can tell you that the Town Crier Motel is located on the main road, Rt. 6 that goes through the middle of the town. We like a bit of luxury and quiet privacy and opt for the Fort Hill Bed and Breakfast which is closer to Orleans, off the beaten track in a historic area that looks out to the ocean. But it is a B+B with lots of amenities, not a motel, so it may be out of your price range.

I don%26#39;t know whether you have already gone to Eastham, but the Town Crier is a throwback to the 1970s. Family owned, a little tired, but clean and very low-key. It is right on the bike trail, which our kids love. We don%26#39;t spend a lot of time at the motel when we are at the Cape, so we don%26#39;t mind the budget surroundings. If you are looking for upscale, though, this is not for you.
